St Joseph Commercial

Creating the look and style, as well as the characters, Friend has just completed art directing a new spot for St. Joseph Cancer Institute in Maryland with animation house, FlickerLab. A fully hand painted animation, the commercial was first animated traditionally, then painted digitally with Adobe Photoshop and Corel Painter to achieve a stop-motion painted look.
The commercial, nationally show, will depict the hospital’s unique way of treating cancer patients.
