Friend and the team at SpeakeasyFX were included in the newest issue of Stash DVD Magazine (63) for their work on the opening credits for Community, the new NBC sitcom airing Thursday nights. Friend had developed, with director Erin Sarofsky, the illustrations for the cootie catcher that is featured in the CG titles.
Abby’s Flying Fairy School

Friend had the extreme pleasure of being the production designer and art director on Sesame Workshop’s newest addition to the Sesame Street show, Abby’s Flying Fairy School. Beyond Peter de Seve’s initial sketches of the primary characters, Friend designed the show’s environments, props and secondary characters with the help of SpeakeasyFX’s amazing team of artists and animators. The show was directed by the talented Jan Carlée (Ice Age, Alien Resurrection, Titan A.E)
