After working on Abby’s Flying Fairy School for a year straight, Friend decided the world needed to see the darker side of faedom. Singer and puppeteer, Alissa Hunnicutt commissioned him to do a puppet for her performance of the Groovelily song “Uninvited” (from their musical “Sleeping Beauty Wakes.”)
Carnival of Samhain 2008 Postcard

An evil monkey prevails over his owner for the poster of Drama of Works’ 7th Annual Carnival of Samhain puppet festival in New York (November 6-8, 2008). Friend continues with what has become a series of demonic circus animals gone horribly wrong. At least this one knows to keep up with his concertina skills even after his freedom has been achieved.
