I had done some style frames for Flickerlab when they began a branding of AMC's Monsterfest. I came up with a series that was meant to be sketches for physical puppets if the style should have been chosen. But I came across them years later and thought they stood well on their own as the final look. I made this quick animation test of the ferryman to see how the photo collage would move.
